Africa Fruit Connect
Africa Fruit Connect is the continent’s premier fruit industry forum. It brings together farmers, agribusinesses, exporters, researchers, investors, policymakers, and innovators to strengthen Africa’s fruit sector and position it competitively in global trade.
Africa produces some of the world’s finest tropical and temperate fruits — mangoes, avocados, pineapples, apples, citrus, bananas, grapes, and emerging superfruits like dragon fruit, passion fruit, and melons.
Yet, the continent accounts for less than 5% of global fruit exports.
This event aims to change that by connecting markets, promoting value addition, building partnerships, and unlocking new investment opportunities across Africa.
Africa Fruit Connect supports the vision of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to boost regional trade, integrate markets, and grow Africa’s role in the global fruit economy.

Why Africa Fruit Connect?
Despite producing a wide variety of high-value fruits, African countries trade more with external markets than with each other. This limits regional value creation.
